Soft tissue myxomas are extremely rare benign soft tissue tumors of the oral cavity.They comprise of myxoid ground substance and often present as painless, Holy Basil (Tulsi) slow-growing masses.Their differential diagnosis is challenging due to their non-specific clinical features and histopathologic similarities with other tumors of myxoid stroma.In this communication, diagnosis and management of soft tissue myxoma in the anterior palatal gingiva of a 22-year-old male patient is reported which clinically Hiking Boots appeared as a routine hyperplastic growth.Both the incidence and location of this tumor was rare and has been sparsely reported in the literature.
